Kathryn L. Hunter has been sole in-house real estate counsel for Lexham Realty Management, LLC (“LRM”) since 2004, handling all lease and tenant related legal matters as well as legal support for asset and property management. Kathryn grew up on the CT shoreline. She graduated cum laude from Brandeis University in 1981 and earned her JD from Rutgers Law School-Newark in 1986. After law school Kathryn joined the commercial real estate department at Kelley Drye & Warren and was with the firm for nearly 16 years, working for a decade in the firm’s NYC headquarter offices and later in Stamford CT. While at KDW Attorney Hunter represented firm clients in a wide array of commercial real estate matters, including lending, acquisitions, sales, leasebacks, leasing, foreclosures and bankruptcies. Attorney Hunter took a hiatus from KDW and briefly joined CUC International as in-house lease counsel from 1997-1998, just prior to its merger with HFS and emergence as Cendant Corporation. Among her civic contributions, Ms. Hunter sat on the Tax Assessment Appeals Board in Darien CT and has been an appointed member of municipal and local non-profit boards serving the Madison CT community. Attorney Hunter is admitted to the Bar in the States of New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.
